Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zo, also known as Ask Zo, ("Zo", "the Service"), a personal assistant built and operated by Z8Z Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By using Zo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. The Service

Zo is a personal assistant accessible via WhatsApp and the Zo iOS and Android apps. Zo can help you manage your calendar, draft and send emails, remember things, and carry out other tasks on your behalf. Zo uses third-party, enterprise-grade large language models to process your requests.

Zo can also use a web browser on your behalf ("Browser Use"). Browser Use is an experimental feature in beta, offered to some users before others, and may change, be limited or be withdrawn at any time.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any devices through which you access Zo. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@z8z.ai.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Zo to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through Zo's email capabilities.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
  • Transmit malicious content, including viruses or harmful code.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

You may not use Zo, including Browser Use, to:

  • book, reserve or resell railway tickets, or use any site whose terms forbid automated access to bookings (including IRCTC);
  • buy limited-availability items or tickets for resale, or to gain an advantage over other buyers in a sale, queue or drop;
  • take part in betting, gambling, fantasy sports for money or any other real-money game;
  • get around a website's access controls, rate limits, paywalls or bans, or any check meant to tell people from automated programs, other than as Zo does it in the ordinary course of a task you asked for;
  • sign in to, or act in, an account that is not yours or that you are not authorised to use;
  • collect data from websites in bulk, or monitor other people;
  • buy, sell or obtain goods or services that are illegal or restricted where you or the seller are;
  • create fake accounts, reviews, ratings or sign-ups;
  • do anything that breaks a website's terms in a way that could harm the site, its users or Z8Z Labs.

We may refuse, stop or limit any task that we believe breaks these rules, and suspend Browser Use for an account that repeatedly does.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

5. Google Account Integration

If you choose to connect your Google account, you authorise Zo to access your Google Calendar on your behalf to carry out actions you request. You may disconnect your Google account at any time through the Zo profile panel, which immediately revokes our access. Our use of Google account data is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Zo on Websites for You

Zo acts as your agent. When you ask Zo to do something on a website, you authorise Zo to visit that site, read its pages, fill in forms, and click and type on your behalf, including in accounts you sign in to through Zo. You confirm that you are entitled to use those sites and accounts, and that using them through Zo is allowed. You are responsible for what is done in your name at your request, as if you had done it yourself.

You confirm anything final. Before Zo places an order, makes a booking, submits a payment or sends something that cannot be undone, it asks you. Your confirmation (for example a tap on a button or a reply saying yes) is your instruction to go ahead. Zo may still finish a step you asked for without asking again, where that step can be undone or costs nothing.

The deal is between you and the website. Orders, bookings, tickets and payments made through Browser Use are between you and the business that runs the website. Z8Z Labs is not the seller, does not hold or transfer your money, and is not responsible for the goods, services, prices, refunds, cancellations, delivery or customer service of any website. Disputes about an order go to that business.

Payments. Zo pays the way you choose from those the website offers. A UPI payment is approved by you in your own UPI app, and Zo never handles the money. Card details you enter on Zo's secure page are passed to the website for that payment only.

Results may be wrong. Websites change, and Zo can misread a page. Prices, availability, statuses and other information Zo reports may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important on the website itself before relying on it.

Watches can be late or miss a change. When Zo checks a page for you on a schedule, a check can be late, fail, or miss a change. Do not rely on Zo alone for anything urgent or time-critical.

A task can stop partway. A task may stop before it finishes, for example because a site is down, blocks Zo, asks for something only you can give, or hits a limit. This can leave something half done, such as items in a cart or a form partly filled in. Zo will tell you when it stops, but it is your responsibility to check and finish or undo it.

Websites can contain hidden instructions. A web page can carry text designed to trick an AI into doing something its user did not ask for. Zo treats what it reads on websites as information, never as instructions, and asks you before anything final, but no safeguard is perfect. Do not use Browser Use for anything where a mistake would be serious.

Robot checks. Some sites ask visitors to prove they are human. Zo may pass such a check in the ordinary course of a task you asked for, including with the help of a third-party service, or may ask you to complete it. Zo does not do this on sites that forbid automated access to bookings.

Staying signed in. If you sign in to a website through Zo, Zo keeps that site's session in a browser profile kept for you alone, so that it does not need your password again. You can sign Zo out of everything at any time in My Zo, which deletes that profile.

Limits. Browser Use has daily usage limits, which we may change. Zo may decline a task, or stop one, that is too long, too costly, plays video or audio, or that we believe breaks these Terms.

Provided as is. Browser Use is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty that it will complete a task, complete it correctly, or be available at any time.

7. Content and Accuracy

Zo generates responses using large language models. While we strive to make Zo as helpful and accurate as possible, responses may occasionally be incomplete, incorrect, or outdated. Zo's responses do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including legal, medical, financial, or other specialised advice. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by Z8Z Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you provide to Zo. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

9. Privacy

Your use of Zo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Zo available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Z8Z Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim. In particular, Z8Z Labs is not liable for any loss arising from an action Zo took on a website at your request or with your confirmation, from information Zo read on a website, from a check or task that was late, failed or stopped partway, or from the acts or omissions of any website or its operator.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Z8Z Labs, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, including actions taken on websites and accounts at your request, or violation of these Terms or of any website's terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Termination

You may stop using Zo at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@z8z.ai. We may terminate or suspend your access at our discretion if you violate these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Zo after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
